School was cancelled for two days on Nov 28th and 29th. Aliyah was so excited to play in the snow. She said it was the best day ever. She ate so much snow she was in the bathroom frequently throughout the day. To see more snow photos click on this photo on my blog to get to my flicker account. Sorry I haven't updated the blog for a few months. Life is busy. I just finished up my report cards. One third of my year is done.

Aliyah wanted to help out with changing Dakota's diaper. The girls are going to be so helpful with the new baby.

Elyse and Aliyah are exited to have a new sybling. Elyse is especially excited to be a big sister. She had put in her request for a sister. After an appointment and the doctor putting in his request for a boy, Elyse began to cry. After a talk about having brothers she decided it would be okay if we could name the baby Caleb. Sorry baby, not gonna happen.

The girls spent at least 30 minutes singing worship songs and playing instruments. Great entertainment.

Worship Leader

We are so proud of Aliyah. This is her first year being able to join the kids choir at Sound Life. At first she told me that she wouldn't want any solos. But after only 2 months she auditioned to lead worship in a small group. She did such a good job singing, "You're Good Lord". Maybe next time it will be a solo. She is looking forward to singing in a small group for Christmas and being the letter "I" in a CHRISTMAS song.

We should have had Aliyah stop her craft project for the photo. Elyse took a break from the craft to watch Veggie Tales. We enjoyed hot chocolate and a break from ice skating.

Skating

Pastor Terry took a turn with Aliyah so I could get a photo. Edwin grabbed Elyse and took her for a spin. Elyse did pretty good with her skates. Last year we cheated and she used her shoes for a once around the rink.

Ice Skating

Aliyah and Edwin enjoyed their time skating around the rink. Aliyah was getting pretty confident when our time was cut short. Next time we will have to arrive earlier. It took us a half an hour to get the right skates on. Aliyah's third pair of skates finally worked.

Free Pizza

We started a Halloween tradition 2 years ago. The girls and I go to Papa Murphy's to get their free pizza. It is so fun to watch them show off their costumes.
